National YFC Stats

Through the programs of YFC in the United States this past year:

415,545 young people heard the Gospel explained to them.

Although some of the teens that heard the Gospel were already Christians, many were not - and 28,098 of them indicated that they had made a commitment to become a follower of Jesus Christ!

Over 11,702 new believers participated in a local church.

YFC National had 1,453 school sites! That is almost fifteen-hundred schools impacted directly through YFC, not counting schools impacted through teen events and other crossover.

ADD TO THAT 234 institutional sites, 90 teen moms sites, and 538 neighborhood sights, and give God praise for the incredible amount of outreach and care in this nation that God saw fit to use YFC to perform.

It doesn't stop there. YFC camps had 7,960 registrations, and the total camper days totaled 34,192. YFC had 191 area-wide events with a total attendance of 74,600 people! YFC also sponsored 66 school assemblies with an attendance of 44,432.

Tired of numbers? Keep in mind that every teen has a name. That could be your son, child in that school number "1,453", hearing the Gospel and being provoked to respond. That could be your daughter, the camper number "7,960," who went to camp and was befriended by an adult leader who cared and pointed her in a positive direction.

Finally, please consider the schools that are NOT a part of the 1,453. The many teens who never made it to a big event, meeting, or campout. In our own local area there are dozens of schools that could benefit from a local Campus Life club, or a basketball drop-in center. But that takes more volunteers, more finances, and it is already a lot of work and generous giving to yearly maintain what we do now. But with help we can expand and grow and influence more and more of the youth of our region.
