Greater Cleveland Youth For Christ is like a good church - a few paid staff, many who labor in faith and love, and financial support! Volunteers compose the majority of the workers at YFC, and the fact that they are not "paid staff" doesn't matter to a teen being given the Gospel, or an encouragement to do good.

If you are a volunteer - THANK YOU! Without you, many teens would live "without hope and without God in this world."

Volunteer members are involved in outreach groups - befriending teens one on one. They sometimes drive kids to events. They share the gospel. They stuff envelopes!

There are many ways in which volunteers put in time and labor on the front lines for reaching the teens. Other volunteers are behind the scenes. It's a large job, but the rewards are out of this world! May God grant each volunteer "forever friends" that the volunteer was used by God to reach.

I do not get a paycheck to hang with them, go to McDonald's with them, and spend hours giving of myself to them. This volunteer impact in their lives is free of charge. That makes it more meaningful, not less.

Volunteers are needed. There are teens that need a personal touch - they need men and women to give of themselves. They don't necessarily need super-Christians who have memorized Matthew to impress them, or super-evangelists eating locusts and wild honey!

No, they need followers of Jesus with a desire to practically love teens. A desire to reach the lost. A willingness to give of themselves in some way. If you are interested, please call the office or email us at help@yfccleveland.org.
