JV Ministry

It has been said that junior high children are now where High School teens were a few decades ago.

They have large decisions to make - decisions that most are not equipped to handle. A large percentage of people enter High School already sexually active. Drugs, cable porn, alcohol -- these kids are not as naive as you probably were!

To complicate matters, that age group is still growing up and not usually very mature. Nor do they generally have the attention span (or desire for it) of older kids.

But they do need love.

Greater Cleveland YFC recently refocused as a ministry to more adequately aim at caring for this age group.

They need to know they are special. They need to have events and meetings build for them, not merely created for High School kids. They need adults who are willing to see past any immaturity to see their individual value.

That is where JV Ministry steps in. JV ministry holds Campus Life JV meetings, and organizes retreats for the JV students.
